I've put it up to host again due to randomly recieving pm's about it for the last 2 years so here it is again.

We've certainly had a lot of demand every month or so someone replies to the old thread begging for it to be returned! ;)

I just thought I'd say, there are a few places not on there that I can think of, is it still possible to mod the pack with new locations and update it through this thread?

i don't ride DH any more but anything that's on here by the end of the weeked I'll add just cos i'm nice like that.

looks like we need a few more DH tracks up north though, that map confirms it.

Great map!!
Makes it much easier to find tracks and plan some road trips now.

theres a print screen of the co ordinates. its a bit further east than cwmcarn/abercarn.

when you download it how do you actually open it up into google earth?

You drag and drop the file onto the main aerial view screen or onto the "My Places" folder on the left of the main aerial screen.

Was just having a browse and i realised that there were some 4x tracks listed. Also realised hornton hill was near me and then trying to search the website and googling the place it appears as though it has closed so it may be worth removing it. Dont know if anybody can confirm this

Read the first page of the topic, the file is there to download. HOWEVER do not download it yet as it is not the one with all of the updates that I have made. It will be amended tomorrow.

Aren't we missing Glentress? And also Calton Bank and Silton DH in the North East.
Sorry I don't know the locations tho, expect for Calton Bank,  54°25'22.83"N, 1°10'38.90"W, not sure about the exact restricts there now tho.  :-\

I don't mean to be rude, but there not much point in putting a file up a short time and it then disappearing, cos how many people are gonna come along and think "that looks really useful, o great I can't download it, thanks".

Or is this another cause of implied 'responsibility' for the people providing information about riding, rather than the people doing the riding?  ::)  :P

Where is this map thing??

It's for Google Earth matey, once you have it you can download the file on the previous page and it will open in Google Earth with the locations of the tracks.
