Title: Marshalling
Post by: orangesrule on April 15, 2008, 09:34:01 AM
Right, i know if you marshal a race you can get free a race entry.

But what does marshalling actually involve (having never raced before i don't know  ::)). Do you just have a sit down and blow a whistle every time a ride passes and then assist a rider if he/she falls off (if needed)/ warn rider following.

Is there a minimum age limit?

You have pretty much described a marshal's duties; but a briefing is given before you are allocated your position.
Minimum age is usually 16.

If you need any more information PM me.
