It's less than a month away now and as usual we'll be using a different track, don't even think of asking which one (at this moment in time), because we haven't decided ourselves yet!
Feel free to offer suggestions tho :)

Hopefully we'll be using some of the new stuff......

Also we could be busy on this one if we get fair weather, our entry limit will be ultimately decided by how many uplift vehicles we have running. With a bit of luck that'll be two big lorries + big trailers, plus the usual selection of attack craft! 
We'll keep you posted. If your thinking of going, don't rely on 'pay on the day'  :)

Pedally top section, steep techy bottom section, going around the road gap thing was cool.  that seams to cover all bases!

Maybe more off camber roots, and water them before the race if its dry!

The trees are tall enough already mate, a bit of water aint gunna make them grow ;)

suggestion for rd 2 george/zippy to darkside/devils dyke would cover bit of everything ?

that would be the sickest track EVER.

That was the uber wet 2nd round last year that was easily one of the best and funniest weekends/rides i have ever had!

dark side or whatever its called (the track from round 2 of 2007)

It's looking good for Devil's Dyke as a mid section, Dark Side still needs work before racing but we will use it (Free Fall line anyone?), hoping to get some more of the giant start ramp done over the next couple of weeks, which will be pretty much the deciding factor for tracks. 

will the track be marked out any time prior to the race?

The format our race weekends at the bike park, will be course semi taped friday night in time for Saturday Uplift. Semi becuase all trail intersections will be left open, so you can ride what you like...

and is the entry like any other race, 7 days before?

was there a price rule on the minibikes? a tenner or under or something?

and I can't wait for round 2, round 1 was sick as and hopefully this one will be as much fun, even though the weather won't be as awesome...

16" wheels or less and no more than £5 spent (I think that was the rules last year) .

The locals produced some tasty rides last time......watch out for Boris though cos he always cheats!

it was pretty impressive at how much those boys seemed to get done every time we got back to the top of the hill on sat. Looks pretty sweet.

F***ING HELL i have to say it feels like i havent been to the bikepark in ages. Purely as so much gets built! its almost bad; as you go one weekend and find out the weekend after you guys have gone and built even more! so on that note i too would like a cabin, hut, chalet please i want to live there!

fore practice day can i just turn up and do uplift without booking in advance?

yes you can but it's not ideal, book in advance if you are confident you are going to do the uplift then you definately get a space, they have been known to sell out

The race track is lookin' great now the start ramp is up and running, just a little tweak or two to the mid section and we're done!

It's Dark Side for anyone who wants to know............ ;D

this might have already been mentioned if it has sorry.... but is it possible to turn up saturday like midday and ride the race track without uplift... i.e push up instead(i no its hard) but i dont want to pay for uplift when the earliest i will be getting there is like 1pm.

thats fine. you can have a half day uplift if you like starting at 2 providing there's spaces. £12.50 or £15. i cant remember.

awesome track guys, well organised aswell, definatly doing the rest of the series, just gutted i missed out on podium by 0.100!

best weekends racing I have had ever, and sweeeet track, really well organised too, and great weather!
can't wait for round 3!

who one overall just out of intrest? hope to make a few more this year.

Dunno, saw at least 3 guys taking pictures (with proper cameras) along the top setion.

where do we stand in terms of points for the overall series? is there a certain amount of points for each position or something?

Ben (torico) told me that it'll probably be as follows, first place - 12 points, second - 10 points, 8 for third, then 6,5,4,3,2,1 zero for everyone else.
best 5 or maybe all 6 results (to be confirmed).

Had a talk with Ben the other day about points, I think we're going with 5 races so you can miss one and that number system above. It's Bens call as he's in charge of the all the timing ect........we'll try and sort some worthy series prizes!  :)

probably a bit soon 2 ask, but any ideas on the prizes for series winners in each category?

are the points collected by the organisers or do we have to  have a llisence to hold them because i think i would forget how many points i would have after a few races..

plan on coming 4th more then?  :P

yeah we will sort the points out and I am badgering MMA (importers of ROYAL, 661, Sunline, Maxxis ) to sort us out some top prizes for the series. They have been superb so far, in offering some great podium prizes. We will have an overall series winner ( possibly a pro shuttle suit might be on offer) and maybe some spot prizes for best improved rider through the season or best crash etc . I would rather give out some prizes to some guys who dont podium but still support the series and love riding at the bikepark, be good to give back to the grassroots riders.

BTW me and ali have just come back from the park looking at rd 3 track - another new belter is in store !!

Maybe you should do a prize for closest to third. eg, look at every cat for every round in the series and whoever is closed to third wins the prize.  or you could do a prize for most consistent rider over the series. Just ideas.
