Title: Littermag closing down Post by: Keeny on May 09, 2008, 15:45:00 PM Quote The doors are closing here at Littermag.com, and I just wanted to thank all of you dedicated viewers who have been getting your fix here. The site will stay up, so the content isn't going anywhere. I can't thank enough, the dedicated individuals who've helped create the best MTB content on the web, either. Sven, Damian, Matty, Terry, Kevin, Reynolds, Smiff, Luc, Maxine and so many more...you know who you are. Without your help, this site would have been nothing but crappy press releases, like every other mtb site. I want you all to know that Litter contributors worked hard, out of love and dedication. If they got any reward at all, it might have been a beer. To all the sponsors who have helped support this site, I thank you, too. Your help kept Litter above water and provided the means to get some unique and fun content. Thank you so much! I'll be updating the home page photo occasionally, but that's about it. I have other things that need my attention, and I'd rather be riding than sitting at the computer every morning. Thanks and maybe if things slow down this winter, we'll be back. Take a day off from the internet (well, maybe Monday after Maribor : ) and go get on your bike. Hasta, -GORDO Thats a great shame, their features are always top notch :( Title: Re: Littermag closing down Post by: Not Quite Human on May 09, 2008, 15:51:15 PM :(
That's a right shame! I love the site and they always have awesome coverage. Plus it's the only site that's not blocked at 6th form. Ah well, if it's for the best, then such is life. Title: Re: Littermag closing down Post by: neale on May 09, 2008, 23:08:45 PM almost shocking, they were doing a good thing
Title: Re: Littermag closing down Post by: Simmo on May 09, 2008, 23:24:24 PM Gutted by this. :'(
Their photo/video/audio features of races etc were always excellent Title: littermag.com Post by: slick on May 15, 2008, 10:13:26 AM Anyone know more details why it is being wound down?
Was an awesome site with good tech pics / vids and plenty of stuff in the off season I mean shots like this just make you want to go riding........http://www.littermag.com/2008/features/1036/8/photos/9.jpg The site will be sorely missed. Title: Re: littermag.com Post by: SJC on May 15, 2008, 11:56:56 AM I think there just taking a break from it for a bit cause it was taking up so much time, if you go to the homepage and scroll down a bit he posted up an article stating why he was stopping.

Seems all the blog sies.. the websites that actually get updated... are closing down. Sucks, i guess its alot of work to update everyday and rather let them fall to a crap standard they quit while they are ahead
