Dunn if this is in the right section...

Now that i'm broken for a while, i'm gonna sort out the sunday frame which is scratched and chipped all over thanks to crappy IH paint. Now i have had a few ideas but dunno which one would look best, the boxxers will be sprayed white or black and the LG1 will be white or black too. If anyone wants to photoshop these ideas that would be sweeeeeet. heres some ideas i had please enlighten me on ideas you lot might have:

-fully silver (powder coated a polished silver colour)
-orange front end and white rear end
-baby blue front end with white rear end
-turquoise (yeti cycles colour) front end with white rear end
-yellow front end with white rear end
-white front and rear end
-or just both rear and front end in one of the above colours??

As you can tell i am very bored lol

Fair point, although it does help ALOT if you can see what it would look like.

I have never touched the paint on anything on my bike before doing a photoshop, but thats because i can :P

If your that bored, why not take this opportunity to get online and go through some photoshop tutorials and learn how to do it yourself

Mabey he dosn't have photoshop? It's quite expensive incase you didn't know.

cos i don't have photoshop cos its well expensive and i 'shouldn't be using my right hand' but its so easy to lol

yeah i guess there are other programmes out there that can be used

White with green decals to match chain device and forks.

Yellow with white rear end is winning. You could get someone to design a custom paint job for you if you have a bit of spare money? Argos most likely would, cheers

as for ur colours im feeling the yellow [and i always have said id never have a yellow bike but that looks quite cool!]

how about pearleseant colours? like purple/black or red/white or maybee some mad green!

gona get urself some custom graphics? you can always do me a custom colour for my hardtail if ur that bored  ;D

Nah not really got that sorta money mate, just lookin to clean it up a bit cos the paint on it is shite :D


Dunno about argos as they charge a tonne of money, and i can get the same quality at a local powder coaters

I will probably try and get some official ironhorse graphics cos a mate of mine got the whole set including head badge for free after giving them the serial code etc of the frame

oh and no green cos people think i wanna be like sam hill without the need for green!! hehe :D ;)

haha and yeah, er no about the hardtail... get it painted orange like your forks  ;D
i got the time but not the dosh :D

depending on how old you are (as in as a kid) you could get Photoshop at an educational price (much, much cheaper) i got the whole Master Collection for something ridiculously cheap just because its a 'student edition' - absolutely nothing different to the 'non-student edition' except the price.

although unless you want to use it for something other than just this one case, theres not much point in getting it.

yeah, its only for this so i won't bother

charlie mate, if you want a good quality photoshop image of what it would look like, its best to give a picture of your bike up against a neutral background ie a white wall and take the picture from a dead straight on image.

That electric blue main frame and white rear end looks so good. Looks plain at the moment, but with a set of iron horse decals on it would look awesome. You should have white decals on the main frame and electric blue on the rear.

If i had the time id do it on photoshop but i dont . . . feel free anyone else, id be interested to see the final result

i'm gonna get silver boxxer decals and 07 sunday frame decals and then possibly get the mavic 721's powdercoated that yellow colour

How much do Argos charge for spraying frames on average?

£100+
and i think they are sprayed, so won't take much beating
a local powder coaters could do it for £30-£50ish

Argos do stove enamel don't they? I think thats pretty tough

these are my final ones, i was set on the blue/white/yellow wheels but i really like white/yellow wheels (didn't wanna follow everyone but that one is sooo nice!) or white/black/yellow wheels and white dark grey/yellow wheels (ignore the blue lines on the frame)

Get it white with red decals, red wheels, red levers... nah joking black and white looks good, get yellow decals and yellow wheels

just did a mock up in photoshop but cant be assed to upload it and what i sed looks SOOOOOOOO nice!

you ask for out veiws and then totaly dismis what we sugest ( going on what you gave us ) and now say nah , grey. WHY ASK!

cant make the rims bright red with out the room going red aswell ( well not with out spending lots of time )

hate to disappoint ya but yellow wheels are sooo much nicer, although i think i may go white forks and rear end with black main frame and yellow wheels

each to there own its your bike but its been on pinkbike for 1 min and 2 comments saying "nice bike with it was mine" silly pinkbike people ! but shows its sweet. and yellow rims are common as muck!

i must say i does look really good, but for some reason i'm just not too keen on it, a bit dark with the black and red, hence why i like the white and yellow  ::)

thats because its like mucky red as there yellow underneath
the red of my wheels is sweet as.
and red is cooler

yeah, now i'm reconsidering even painting the wheels cos it means taking apart to wheels and having them put together and tbh i got one arm so it will have to get done in a shop and the paint will chip haha maybe not on the wheels ;D

back to the blue or yello frames then eheh

Your such a woman charlie, people wont look at the colour of your bike because your ugly mug will scare them away.

But I like the black and red one.

Doing wheels will be a pain ! bike shops charge alot to do wheels !

And make your mind up !!!
