Title: Opinions on what fork to go for.
Post by: Dropoffdan on May 15, 2008, 12:07:21 PM
OK so i have come to the conclusion that my Monsters on my Foes are just too big and clumsy, being a big fella(6ft 5 and 18 1/2 stone) id like something pretty sturdy, obvious choices are the norm,888`s,boxxers,40`s but anything else you could think of would be considered.
I'm not a racer and not concerned about megalight weight bits and bobs,i will be running Hayes 9`s and my budget is £300 ish but could go a bit more or swap my 2008 Pike 454`s as part of a deal.
So just looking for some recommendations.

If you can some 08 888s, as they would suit a Foes very nicely, I think Boxxers wouldn't really suit the frame and may not be stiff enough.
either some of the new 888s, or a good set of 06/07 ones.
Jay before you ran 40s and they looked sweet on it!
