Post by: Dave Franciosy on June 02, 2008, 05:06:27 AM
Last rode the dh3 track in 2004 and I would like to know what if any changes have been made to the Track I have looked on a few youtube videos but I can not see many .

No mate, the only changes have been made to the black run where there is a new line.

But since 2004...   the top section may be different slightly, i forget when they changed the jumps. New lines have probably developed and bits will me more worn so it will ride a little different too. it's generally the same though.

And also, changes to dh4 too.

If it ain't broke don't fix it I say  ;)

Although I reckon that berm gapping the fireroads could do with a little bit more support.

Top section of DH3 is the best part of the whole hill, besides Red Run.

You've gotta jump them clean though!

We'll get absolutely slated for saying stuff like that Tom...I do enjoy it though, maybe it's cause we're on hardtail...?

Lol I have no problem with the top run of the DH3 on a hardtail, it's great fun, UNTIL that rutty berm, manage to hit ever single rut every time! boneshakin stuff!

You what?  Sorry??  Have you ridden the rest of the tracks?!  Out of all the tracks and sections there...you've picked the two that are on the bottom of the pile, on any bike!!

if i ever see you at aston i will take you down DH4/Ultimate Pursiuts. Red run is XC and top of DH3 is very pedally, best part of aston hill has to be the bottom section of dh4

Getting sideways scrubbing the left hand turn after the bottom compression, always great fun.
