Title: Woodlands Summer jam
Post by: Milky on July 21, 2008, 10:21:11 AM
Hey yesterday was the annual woodland riders summer jam and went really well with the intro of a race to the days procedings that i organised which went really well , so well we will be running more of them on tracks all about the valley every few months if we have a few more people to help with stopping the highly tech timing gear ( walki talkies and a barbie stop watch)

anyway a few of my fav shots from the day , considering i only had one flash with me i think i did ok in the woods as i wanted to take my riding gear to so had to thin out my camera gear.

loads more on my sites gallery

Nice, but not up to your standard in my opinion. They're all quite flat in terms of DoF too and I reckon your composition is slightly off.

LOL non of me either! I guess we're just too quick....
Sare will be pleased with the pic you got of her on the drop, as usual she's looking at the camera and not where she's going!!

we all have days where its more about the riding than the photos, not every shot has to be masterpiece!

wish i could've gone, but had to work, i'll keep an eye out for the upcoming races though, sounds like it'd be a good laugh!

Your freelap is worthless next to Milkpro's walkie talkie's and barbie digital watch. Stop moaning, Milkpro is final!!! :P

I was too busy trying to get down in one piece, so I'll have to accept Milkipro's Barbie watch was right. I suppose it might have helped if I'd had a practice run, but I forgot  >:(. Still there's always next time...

Here's to the next Jam, lets hope the weather and turnout will be as good

Milkpro's walkie talkie's

James'  ;)

Walkie talkies, alot cheaper than freelap, just as accurate.
Case ended!
