Seeing as the "staff" of southerndownhill.com cannot handle basic problems in their threads, they have decided to delete the PORC board.  >:(

I am truly disappointed in the moderators.
It is inevitable that this thread, or i will get banned, yet i feel the reason is good enough to take that risk.

I seem to remember looking at one of the 'mods' profile pages, and discovering that they had spent over 250 days on the forum, therefore i have concluded that they have no real experience of riding.  ;)

I am now embarking on a quest to get the PORC board open again, as it was the most active "Specific Downhill Event Board"  :-\

From now on i would like all PORC queries to be posted on this thread as we have nowhere to organise races or dig days.

well this is going to get closed im afraid to say.

I really didnt see an issue, everyone abused everyone, it almost started to 'work' at one point

TBH you lot have let yourselves down. You lot bitch and wind each other up all the time. Personally I'm glad it's gone, hopefully you can start behaving yourselves.

we didn't do anything wrong we may argue, but what are forums for, there would be no point in them if we all got along. porc is improving, the mcc's have been there every day in the last week getting the first full new downhill track sweet (no one ride it until its done) and the dirt jumps have been improved greatly over the last week.

that still has nothing to do with the excessive amounts of verbal violence in that thread haha

um no, we werent even told no stop voiceing our opinions, you lot just started locking threads, we'll be good if we can have the board back ;)

we only wind people up who are wrong, and people that think they know stuff about the place, but never go. :-\ no names!  >:(

i think the board should be back, but make me a moderator, so i could say what goes, PORC is my local trails after all.

i guess we wont get the board back after that fine show of behaviour, liam and jonny.

We handled it, we closed the board. Why the heck should we have to spend so much effort moderating one board because its users can't behave like decent human beings? The point of this forum is not to argue. If you want a forum to spend all day arguing with PORC minded people, please go right ahead and set one up.

Further, acting like some kind of prat after the fact will do nothing what so ever to encourage us to ever re-open the board.

What a surprise. Its a porc thread, its already got arguing. ::)

Its just those few people though, and im not saying any names, on the other hand, those people are almost the only people who actually go to porc, the others may have been once but on the whole know nothing, which could probably include me on that one.

You lot just need to learn to calm it, if you want to have a go at someone, tough, this place isnt for that, so get off your computer and go and ride!

Having a go at someone DOES NOT GET YOUR OWN WAY especially if your trying to get something back. For the short time this thread will be open, at least dont F it up like everyone else is, its porcs last chance on this forum.

Seriously guys, the PORC board has been lost for the moment, why dont you all just calm it, prove you can act sensibly and hopefully get the board back. I want the board back as much as you lot, but been argumentative about it wont get it back.

So let me get this straight, the board got closed because you all argued and bitched...So you started this thread, and look what happened.  OH yeh, you all bitched, argued, and whinged at the guys who put their time in to running this forum in the first place.

te rofs at this getting banned, oh well today the dirt jumps were looking so sick like 15 ft high lips, no bull, the DH tracks are gonna be bare sik, leave the board closed for a while but when all the shiz is finished then open it up again for the winners

Hey, the mods do a cracking job of keeping this forum running smoothly, so a little respect and appreciation please, and yes, with any forum not everyone can get along, but theres a difference in opinion, and plain immaturity:



I can totally appreciate that you guys will want you're board back, but until this action was taken I can only imagine the situation getting worse.

Dwelling on this too long will not get it back, so a few of us could do with swallowing our pride, knuckling down and being a productive forum member.

Hope this matter is sorted maturely.
