"How do I order a spring?

To order any spring or get advice on your requirements call 01373 826800

We do not carry many Fox DHX springs in stock as Manitou (black - £25) or 5th (silver/white - £20) will fit. If you want, we can order Fox springs (Up to 2.25" stroke = £42 or 2.5" stroke & above = £54)."

info from TFTUNED.com

so yes

yes as long as you pick the right length / stroke for your shock. Fox springs are different stroke measurements to Manitou. I have a dhx 5 on my vp and i run a 550lb manitou spring. Its a fair bit longer than the fox spring but its fits in fine. IIRC the main thing TF said when i bought it was the stroke of the spring had to be the same or greater than the shock.

yeah i knew that, cheers anyway. Just DHX springs are quite fat so i was wondering if it would physically go on!

If i have a 2.8" stroke i should go for the 2.75" manitou yeh? or do i go for the 3"?

2.75 manitou,

that is how long your stroke is anyway just fox print what length the spring will compress to till it becomes fully compresed (springbound)

doubt it mate! Patriot is currently the only rolling bike and i doubt that will be great for that kind of thing ;D

i can show you some short DH tracks round back of south leeds stadium which are easily ridable on HT's if you fancy something different!

I recently bought the 2.75 inch one for my dhx, and the spring is longer than the standard fox one so the 3' one would never fit! i barely got the 2.75 one on there, i had to compress the spring with my hand to get the bottom spring plate thing on! but it fits so ur sound  ;)

yeah, the free length is longer. and they're also wide enough, the manitou spring i have is wider than the fox one
