Title: DHX 4 Air Setup for a Reign X
Post by: neemo on August 23, 2008, 01:09:05 AM
Hi

I have  a Reign X that is running a DHX 4 Air. After getting out on the bike over the weekend I realised I am blowing through all the travel. I have the main chamber set to 250psi and the piggy back on 175psi. I weigh 210pounds.

Does anyone have any experience with the DHX 4 and not the 5 as I know the DHX5 has a bottom out adjuster. Any advice is appreciated. ;)

hmm, its sounds like youve got a good set up interms of air pressures. im curious to you bottoming it out though. how old is the shock and have you ever had i serviced?

the dhx airs are shimmed quite light and if the shock has cavitated over time the compression will not react like it should. if it feels realy squelchy and noisy then you may want to considor a service and custom tune as your a fairly heavy rider.

hope this helps
