Title: Re: september 20th Post by: Uk Bike Park on September 04, 2008, 19:04:10 PM Hi Guys
If you want to book a private uplift you'll need 10 of you at least, all paying £30 each - or £300 total for 10 riders or less. The private uplift capacity is 16 (unless you want a monster lorry!) - once 15 riders have paid £30 each the 16th goes free!! The BIG advantage of the private uplift is that you'll get on every uplift (as long as you can get to bottom quick enough!) - normally I'm waiting for you guys to turn up at the bottom........ You can happily expect to get around 16/17+ uplifts in one day - normally most riders crap out after lunch because they can't handle the pace!! Also we can offer hotdogs at lunch along with other refreshments (cans of monster to keep the energy up!!) i can probably get together 4 / 5 people, so if others are interested I would be well up for this... I could grab a couple of people to come with me, it would be good to meet and ride with new people

If not are there any good campsites near by? If we come, we would be coming up from Cornwall, so would like to stay the whole weekend to make the most of it... Title: Re: september 20th Post by: Uk Bike Park on September 05, 2008, 11:07:21 AM We can only permit camping on our big events (to reduce complaints from locals and horse riders etc) - however you could do a spot of unofficial camping in either the lay-by or car park on the main road going into the park. If you want a real campsite with showers & toilets try the inside park near Blandford - about 5 miles from Ukbikepark http://members.aol.com/inspark/inspark/
