how do i get my pictures from pinkbike to hear as i've tried everthing and nothing works can someone please help

you have to put [ img]http://[/img] with the URL in the middle, but every time i do it it comes up with an x like this () and im not sure why..

You need a direct link to the image, if you host the pics at www.imageshack.us and then when its loaded copy the Direct link between
[*img]****[/img*] where the stars are and remove the stars ::)

itll will look like this if you again remove the stars

And if you press preview itll look like this

Is there any way of getting pictures directly to the classified's section without uploading them via Pinkbike or others? I wanna sell a Bullit with pictures rather than emailing everyone...

Yes, you can attache images in the additional options section of the submission form.

Ta. I've just come across a reference to attatchments in the Help section, under Additional Options (Doh). Unfortunately i dont get the option of attatchments for some reason, only the other 3! Lol

Read somewhere about system work being done and to report any bugs...is this one??

I think, and I'll check, that as a Newbie you can't attach pictures.

Open an account with PHOTOBOX (http://www.photobox.co.uk/index.html) or someone similar. Its free, really easy and once set up, whenever you sell something you can stick the picture in really easily after just uploading it to your Photobox account.

When you are writing your message, look above the text box and you will see a bank of little square images with 'B' and I and U in it amongst other things. You see the second one along on the bottom row that looks like a picture? click that and img will appear  in your text twice, in square brackets.
Right-click on your photograph from the website its on, scroll to 'copy image location' and then 'paste' the address you copied between the brackets.

With Photobox and similar accounts, make sure you have specified that you want your pictures to be public, otherwise nobody can see them.

If you want to have a 'clickable' link to an image, click the 3rd square along that looks like a globe with a page on it. You will get [.url] twice [/url] in square brackets. Put an = sign inside the first brackets after url, then paste the address where you want to link to after the = sign. This could look like this - [.url=http://www.google.co.uk]  (ignore dot at start)

Then, between the first set of brackets with all your new address etc in and the second set of brackets, type whatever word you want. When you post the message, this word will appear blue and people will be able to click it to go to the website you pasted in.

[.url=http://www.google.co.uk/]GOOGLE SEARCH ENGINE[/url]
(ignore dot at start) will look like-
GOOGLE SEARCH ENGINE (http://www.google.co.uk/)

You have to make sure that you are putting the image location in between the brackets and not the link to the gallery that it is on, otherwise an X will appear. In photobucket (which i use) there is a line of html under the different pictures, one says IMG. Just copy and paste this text inbetween your [ img] brackets, you should be able to see your picture now.

to get the images' address right click the image, if using firefox you can use copy image location then past that inbetween the two image tags oooor if using IE which you shouldn't right click the image and then properties which will make another box pop up with image URL then copy and past this.

If using opera or something better like safari then it'll again be something similar or along those lines.

note this works on some images which users should be logged into said site to view, I.E myspace... well i think it does
