Could you not race he Mega at the start of your holiday?

All booked up with accomodation already, not sure I would change it for the NPS now anyway.

Will read with keen interest the race reports and speak to riders to find out what it was like after the even, if it's half as good as the hype we should have something to be proud of in the UK.....for once!  I am confident that Steve and Si have enough nounce to make it a great series, after all as riders they have lived with the same frustrations as the rest of us.

Gotta be good though, after all you don't want Next when your paying Gucci prices do you Grin

But the Sprint Avalanche starts on the Tuesday, with Megavalanche the following weekend, so there's not much time to do Rugog then get to the Alps, not in our motorhome anyway.

I'm therefore missing Rugog as well, but I'm entered for all the other NPS DH rounds. And I'm off to race DH and Dual at the Sea Otter Classic weekend after next, nice !

Hahaha, the one big international race I really wouldn't bother going to even if I had the time and money.

Every year people slate it, crap course and bad organisation, coupled with iffy weather...

Heeheehee, good job I'm going on a big holiday as well then hitting SF, Marin, Yosemite, Santa Cruz, etc. Dad's office is up the road and he has loads of air miles so it isn't going to cost much. It's Easter holiday so I do have the time. And you have no idea what we have lined up for the racing !

Why do you feel you have to make a comment like that ? What's the point ? What are you trying to prove, especially as you haven't been yourself ? Tim Flooks goes back year after year so it can't be too bad. I'd rather make my own decisions regarding an event and what happens around it than listen to what others say.

Why do you feel you have to make a comment like that ? What's the point ?

I am merely stating my opinion Smiley

My opinion is that flying from the UK to race Sea Otter as a non-pro is not the best way to spend the cash, thats all.

Sea Otter is the season opener in the States, but it has lost the origional buzz it once had. The Maxxis cup in Gouveia is a better season opener in my opinion.

I am in no way suggesting you won't have fun, and you certainly seem to have lots planned, just don't go to the race expecting an awesome course etc.

Sorry if I seemed overly negative Smiley

Well I'll ignore your opinion as you don't know how the trip will be funded, the time I have, what we have planned and the overall purpose of the trip.

Now let's get back to the NPS.

So the NPS is is full!!!!
the entry list is posted up on npsdh.com

Where are the Athertons? not on the list!!!

The NPS will be a poorer event without them BUT its full.

This will be an interesting development if the list on npsdh.com is the final draft.
