My vote goes down with Easton Flatboys. Very grippy with five tens, nice and wide, concaved, the bearings have lasted ages. I love them.

The axles on DXs are pretty weak, they snap all the time. Apart from that they are pretty much perfect, as long as you don't mind the lowish grip levels.

lowish grip levels?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Roll Eyes clearly you've never been on some or atleast not with the long pins in! they're super grippy iff not too grippy sometimes.

I have some, with long pins, and I wear Fivetens...

Clearly you have not tried many other pedals if you think that DXs are super/too grippy...

I have the crank bros 50:50xx and i really like them they are well grippy with my £13.99 shoes and you can change the plates if you bash them up or just fancy a different colour.
i recomend them.

I run gusset slim jims which are quite good and sealed. But i have heard that the wellgo magnesium pedals are strong and grip reali well.

Get some wellgo pedals. I've got some 50/50s , There 100% hype. Grip is not at £60 standard .
The plates just add something else to go wrong. You can change the pins on them though.

My vote goes to Easton Cully's and if they are too expensive then Easton Flatboys.

my 2pence say azonic a-frames if they're still made. my pair are 3 years old i guess and are still 100% great. with 50/50 mix of long and short pins and some 5.10s you cant ever slip, in fact if you put your foot down in the wrong place you pretty much need to pick it off the pedal and put it down correctly! but on the down side they are heavy. wish mine were a bit lighter, but i could just get fitter.

I've always loved atomlab pedals, very low stable profile. Shame they don't make the old aircorps anymore!
