Calm down guy's, i knew what he meant. That's what i tried to do before because i was to fat and lazy to do any cardio, thinking i would turn into a skinny rake just by doing a few sit up's and lifting weights Roll Eyes

I wish the fat would magically turn itself into muscle though, would be a whole lot less effort Grin

yeah that would give me 3 more nights a week to play on bikes...!

Do weights as well. Turn the fat into muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat so dont aim for 10 1/2 as if you bulk up you may well be more than that.
I would say stay away from the energy drinks also.

fat doesn't turn into muscle.

and bannanas too! Just eat clean foods rather than shakes where possible, do you count calories currently?

I didnt say it did. I told him to turn the fat into muscle . . emplying that he replaced the fat with muscle.

it "emplies" that he turns the fat into muscle as that is quite clearly what you have written. also replacing fat with muscle ultimately isn't going to help him get down to the desired weight like just CV etc is.
Alright mate chill.
if you decided to read my post again i said dont bother aimining for the 10 1/2 stone i think it was because if you bulk up with muscle you will obviously weight more.
who cares what it "emplies" i know what i meant and andyturner28 dosent seem to be having a hissy fit over it like you  Wink

yeah fair does, its just the whole turning fat into muscle thing is a common misconcrption that annoys me!  Wink

make your own soups, coupl of tins of chopped tomatos, onions, carrots, cabbage, cellary, peppers, mushrooms, leek etc.. anything and everything! add a can of soup if you want, cover it in water and simmer for a couple of hours. doesn't taste too bad, i added shed loads of black pepper and crushed chillis!!

it fills you up, full of 'goodness' and helps release of energy stores (fat is basically unused energy stored as fat tissue) high protein content ie chicken fillet helps speed up metabolism of fats (body prefers carbs for energy then burns fats then protein...), apparently green tea does too but never tried it.

this stuff really perks you up, just make sure you drink loads of water too!

Cheers mate, I'll give that a go next week. Except for the cabage, i'd rather eat dog poo!
