Carve 2 - Filmed in Surrey/Sussex using helmet cams and wire cable cams
« on: July 21, 2007, 22:16:40 PM »

Little movie from spring time filmed at diffrent spots around the Surrey, Sussex and Berkshire. We used diffrent methods of filming including cable wire cams, helmet cams and tripod panning.

Pretty good effort dude, might want to be a little more ruthless with the editing in the future, the endless dirt jumps got a little tedious, but that last cablbecam shot at the end was absolutely superb.

That was pretty decent. Good job with the zip-line cam, do have any pictures of it, it would be interesting to see.
The camera was a little shaky at the start but its all down to practice.
The overlaid shoots were good in some place but perhaps a little overused in other places.

Cheers for the advice guys, it was the first attempt with a propper camera. I am currently working on a new cable cam which gets rid of the bumps. I will put a photo of it once complete.

Here is a little video of the cable cam in use
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO7fxFzER3k

Hogarths was a bit ripped out and the big set was a bit sketchy, apparently no one can be bothered to build there at the moment which is a real shame, looks like a old skool jump spot.

lol they are really hard to explain. if you have come from the station etc then instead of jumping over the fence on the left carry on going up the road, just as it starts to go down hill there is a country road on the right. go down there for about 1.5 miles  past the open field on the left and they are just after in the next forrest. its a 9 pack and its good fun.
