Bernard, one of the quickest youth riders in the country had a big off at Fort Bill on sunday.

He ended up in intensive care with Lacerated liver, torn kidney, broken ribs & broken wrist.

Last heard that he came out of intensive care today & is on a reg. ward now & is getting better.

f**k me, thats one of the most horrible injuries ive heard of. ive ruptured my kidney, and that was bad enough for me. i cant imagine how harsh an accident like that must be.

i remember seeing him ride a couple of times out here in morzine last year, and he was pretty damn good.

good luck, i cant imagine how youre feeling, but stick with it.

Heard that he is being discharged from hospital tommorow (fri),
so looks like he is doing well.   Smiley

He came into the doubles on the track & caught a slower rider so braked but didnt manage to slow enough to ride them but too slow to jump them & cased them with his front wheel then hit the ground pretty hard.

only 5 days thats less than i was in and he was in intensive care. i was there a week and i only tore my kidneys. Cant figure that one out.
