Ti Spring from america...
« on: July 31, 2007, 16:04:36 PM »

Ive got a friend who is staying out with another mate in america for the summer however they are no where near any bike shops to pick me up some bits (namely a ti spring) on the cheap taking advantage of the exchange rate.

We have come up with the genius plan where i buy a spring online and have it posted to them (cheaper than postage to uk and avoids import tax) however im having real issues finding american shops online because google wont return any useful results.

Does anyone know of any quality stores which stock ti springs??

Also im only really aware of nuke proof springs, what other makes are worth a look??

Cheers

Edi

Nope. Each state is as big or bigger than the UK, so it costs serious amounts of $$$ to post stuff really long distance. No point buying from Nebraska if your mate's going to Texas.

You've also got differing sales taxes in each state.

Buy it in a state your mate isn't in, then you don't pay State taxes. GoRide, Jenson, etc will all be fine.

Ride fast, take chances. Just don't blame me when you fall off.
