I am going to try and push the shop to sell this for £2000, however i want to build it myself so there won't really be labour to account for, the only things i'll have done is the frame faced up if needs be and the headset fitted. oh and i  will probaly use the wheels off my msisle for the time being (729 on pro 2 front, 721 on pro 2 rear), but later buy some ex721's on pro 2's for it. If i do go ahead and get it, you probaly won't see it for a couple months as i still need to gather more funds together, and will have to make my mind up on the final spec and discuss it with the shop.

XT over both of those. You can sell the rings for £40 lighter then both and show me a broken set

i would prefer the steel inserts that come with the 2 ring hones, oh am there would be a possiblity it would be taken to france next year or the year after.

if your talking about formula oros then definatly go for them over the juicys! the levers are soo much nicer as they have shorter blacdes that are designed for one finger braking, they are also really powerful brakes. i would go for them as after owning the juicys and the oros from new, the oros were definatly the better of the two.

x7 gearing for definite, work amazingly for me

In time,i would want to have the msilse up and running, so i''l put the *old* wheels back on the msilse and put the new ones on the SX, however if i go to france i will probaly put the 729 back on the front, just for that extra bit of strength.

i really like the looks of the formula oro k18's - they seem to be in my budget, what the difference between the 18's and the 24's. Can anyone else recommend them or uses them?

i am torn between the forks, the sl ata's are light and have more adjustability but the Rc2x etas are 400g's heavier but less to go wrong.

Also would it be ok to run 180mm on the sx, i know that the 06/07 66 are a lot shorter than previous years, so it should be ok?

um v12. work unless you have pallet feet. or try and stretch to easton flatboys if you have larger feet.
