Im now nearly recovered well sorta, bought a cruiser for £190 helmet for £100 and went for a little stroll on my cruiser to the bmx track (iford, bournemouth) tried to jump there last straight (something ive done hundreds of times before) and face planted somehow well heres what i look like now!  worst part of all this was, i was wearing a full face helmet (661 dh) which now looks like this  full injuries were Lost two front teeth Cut open tounge cut open chin, needing 8 stitches bruised knee and calf and graises on both arms and brusied collar bones jobs a guden!

That's typical fare for crashing in a 661 full comp, or any other full face with a suffocatingly close chinguard, or inidentitizack's case, a 661 full bravo that didn't fit right. (a correct fit would have prevented the face-scrapeage and tooth loss) I did a similar thing with a Giro madmax2 that didn't fit right. Face first into a tree. Broke my nose, cheekbones, eye orbits, popped blood vessels in my eyes. Learned my lesson, got a decent lid. D rings, long visors and a proper fit on your next helmet methinks [  ] Helmet was fitted by my lbs so not a problem with the size, just a s**t helmet tbh Next ones going to be a Troy lee or a MX one

D rings, long visors and a proper fit on your next helmet methinks [  ] Helmet was fitted by my lbs so not a problem with the size, just a s**t helmet tbh Next ones going to be a Troy lee or a MX one a troy lee is a very expensive 661, offers no extra protection whatsoever. i learnt that the hard way, MX lids are the way to go (your head dosnt lol about in them), the old fox rampage is good NOT the new mtb specific one, look for the motorcycle club sticker on the back and before anybody starts harping on about how heavy they are its about 200 grams more and im sure in this guys case he would have been happy with 100g to keep each tooth
