In the UK Id say Molfre is right up there, I just love that track, flat out at the top and the switchbacks are awesome. Plus Farmer Jacks uplifts also add excitement to the day, as he takes various off road short cuts up the hill!
In France Id say the Mega Sprint Track in Oz en Osians, rode it for the first time this year and just thought it was awesome, it had everything you would want in a track and a sub 5 min run was the dream
In Whistler my fave track is RockCity into National Downhill, there is a scary bit of northshore ladder up and over a boulder that drops you into rocks, closely followed by a tight right hand corner into a fast rock and root strewn gully with a kicker over a tree stump half way down. Its one of those section that when you are at the bottom and look up you cant believe you have just managed to ride down it. Cant wait to get back out there again next year!!
fast sections with loose rocks, flowing open section with berms, drops and natural jumps, a wooded section with roots, roots and more roots.. a fast bottom wooded section.. and at the end a flat out grass bit... love it!
thats where i started riding what id call proper downhill i wish it could be were i could still ride downhill, it was like havin the usa on your door step the drops ruled, the jumps rocked everything was spot on
Swiss national absolutely mental if you try and ride it as fast as you can-The Pleney got everything a course should have & cwmcarn now its bedded in quite a bit - brechfa is very good too if you fancy a bit of a pedal!
