i really like hopton mainly because its such a mixture of fast open stumps field and road gaps and then tight wooded sections

in the uk my favorite  track would be bala or pen-y-bont because they are so different and from abroad i would have to say avoriaz???  (the one with the roadgap ) and the swiss national

France would have to be step up and step down and other plenny secret tracks and the plenny with all the cut in's and outs  Grin
Cause they are super tech! and basically unridden
Then it would have to be chatel blue runs for a no brainer
then french natinoal blue run for a tech but not kill yourself fun run
then the les gets 1 fun run which in the plymouth uni circle i named i don't know its real name,
you do the top bit of les gets 1 then start the middle bit and its hidden on the left somewhere down the track if you have ridden it you will no it  Wink
Then for comedy value the goats track down from avoriaz to morzine  Grin downhill trials!

In the uk no idea!

In the UK mines got to be Bringewood it's got everything tight technical wooded sections with tight corners, flat out singletrack with drops and jumps, It's got big jumps and hard rooty sections to do in the wet and it's got a great finish.

Elsewhere it's gully run its so flat out and technical its awesome

good shout chris, pretty much the best 2 tracks ever. The drifting is sick and they make you a million times better than riding the main runs all day, you actually have to brake and think about your lines. Thanks to Barnard for showing us

Back home I love Still near Bristol on a hardtail, the push up is piss and you're in the air more than you're on the ground almost. Plus the land is so featured you can build whatever your mind can come up with...

I've also had sick runs down Abercarn and Tennis Court too this year. Following jack down Les Gets 1 was a highlight too, just because it had been smoothed out and we were both going as fast as the course allowed, I didn't have to worry about where I was going too!

sounds like your mum to me!

(whoever named that track wasa comedy genius)

for me it has to be les gets 2 in the wet, soo much fun sliding about everywhere trying to stay on. chatel blue run is a good giggle aswell, remove brain, off brakes and enjoy the ride.

in the good ole u.k though i like caersws as i can never seem to take the same line twice and cwmcarn for the fact that you can ride there whatever the weather

Its definitly not your mum your mum is on the other side however this track ends goes off after the start of your mum in the woods! then comes out into an open area directly under the lift then into more woods through a river then onto the xc track bit for a very short time then into that dodgy end to the middle bit of les gets 1 with the weird beginers jump bit.

Without a doubt fort william is my favorite, but having dont 6-7 runs a day for 7 days consitanly. after each run you have to get somebody to peal your hands off the bars you just want to roll up and sleep for weeks.

but i love hopton , specially the new track, quite abit steeper than the older one. but the new ones open section is so good i just love riding the track. Im riding there next sunday anyway so should be fun. last time i was there it was raining all day and i was on high rollers. i love wellying it down there.

Also i love the old track at bringewood just so fast then it goes into the woods with lots of small jumps in. Also the step down to jump at the end is awesome.
