« on: September 24, 2007, 19:18:20 PM »

Im wanting to get into photography , and am wondering what a good choice of camera would be for starting, ill probably be willing to spend a maximum of around 300-350, itll be for riding shots etc.

2nd hand 350d. From ebay. Get a do it all lens. 28-135mm f3.5. Or a standard lens kit for less money. Tight budget though.

Though this Might sound silly, i realy dont like going secondhand with anything electronic, though it makes the budget even tighter.

Canon 350d's and Nikon d50's are pretty much £350 new now.

you'll get a real good starter camera with the 350d & kit lens, I say go for it ;-)

(I have  300d and love it still)

if you change your mind about going second hand, the 300d is still a great starter camera too, and there are some real good deals to be had on eBay for an older camera like that
