its not dh bike friendly although the black is a laugh on a dh bike ....
its a 6k climb to the top of the black ...
there are 4 trails , 2 red 1 black and an "orange" (jump park style trail)
can ride the whole lot in less than 2 hours on an xc bike ... entertained us for a morning on the dh bike....
my advice would be to hire a bike from lyndsay for doing the 2 red trails and generally messing about and slog your dhbike up to the top of the black once for a blast
They have an uplift van that takes you to the top of the really flowy blue trail with loads of berms and jumps (good fun) You can always get out at the top of the blue and then you are half way up the climb for the red (some really good singletrack) Did a day on my dh bike and had a right laugh as it was a pleasant change from the full on Fort Bill track Simon
Yeah we spent a long afternoon there on mid travel bikes and hardtails on the way from Fort Bill to Glentress a few weeks ago. Definitely worth a look, the jump and berm run is good. You would probably suffer on a pure DH bike on a couple of the flat bits but Im sure you'll have a good laugh all the same. We had a great time and we didn't use the uplift van at all.

We don't like to use the term 'insane', we prefer 'mentally hilarious'
it was 2quid a go I think. personally, I don't think it's worth it unless you have a huge beast of a DH bike because the climb isn't actually that long or even particularly steep
We did a day there on the way to Fort Bill last year, all on big DH rigs the uplift van came in really handy. It was good fun, a bit of a chillout, nowt serious or technically challenging. Made a change from the Bill. lol.
