yeh apparently hes been having alot of talks/meetings with trek and is all but certainly making the move... heard this first hand from another racer on the world cup scene

Interestingly enough, the press release for Monster Energy from Bromont was written by 23 Degrees, and it is common knowledge in the pits that Martin Whiteley has big team plans for 2009.

Sam and Brendan on Treks riding for Martin Whiteley?

I have also heard alot of rumours about Hill moving to Trek for 09, they look amazing, are light and seem to be working very well, from what i heard in Whistler. Shandro's one is 38.1 lbs and hes got a pretty heavy build on it.

Another new bike isn't really what Fairlough needs I'm sure.  He's had a bit of a rough time of it the last few seasons switching around.  It didn't seem like he quite settled in with Honda, what with his injuries and the short term contract, I hope he at least stays with Hill next year in a similar team set up, to give him some consistency...we know he can be fast!

he seems to get on with hill really well, and is obviously going quick after this weekend ! is it a definite move to trek ? if so who will go to iron horse ?

As far as I know Brian is staying with Ibis. He has retired from racing World Cups, and is just doing other stuff these days.
