I didn't even notice that any retards (Grin) HAD broken themselves - well done for not holding practice up for any noticable amount of time Wink

(and get well soon, I nailed myself on the tabletop back in November, had to have a bunch of stitches and suffer the doctor pulling gravel out from between my flesh and muscle - not a nice surface to crash on there! Smiley)

LoL! Well you know, not one to cause a fuss! At least I did mine at the top where there weren't too many people to see!  Tongue No stiches or gravel either!

The track WAS ace! Just one particular tree I now have slight resentment for... hehe. What team are you in/supporting? I came back on Sunday to support the girls from High Peak Cycles & my other friends

Good luck at Caersws... was really looking forward to that. Grr (i'm not bitter at all)

Hmm, I'm sure I read that you crashed on the tabletop at the end, but can't see it now.  Think I must have imagined that!

Cool! We tried to make a pit area but the banner ripped and fell down... rubbish!

It's not the first tree I've hit, I must say, just I don't normally hit them with such force. Damn magnetic trees... Lol yeah i guess you meant your name rather than anything else!

Hmm, I'm sure I read that you crashed on the tabletop at the end, but can't see it now.  Think I must have imagined that!

Lol did you perhaps crash and hit your head?  Tongue No, just above the road gap...

Can anyone tell me roughly what the track is like and how would it compare is difficulty to the dragon tracks.  I did the race at gethin last season as my first race but heard caersws is pretty tech and steep.  Is this a good race to do for an inexperienced racer?

The tracks at Caersws range from easy to technical, the we are using is ok for everyone, although to get it pined is pretty hard.

For your first race you will be fine, we are doing 6 hours of practice on Saturday so plenty of time to learn the track and then on Sunday a nother 2 hours of pratice before your two race runs.

11 till 3:30 is shocking.  I think it's bad enough that Pearce only run 11 till 4.  And Fort Bill chairlift is only open 10:30 to 3:30 or something.  I'd much rather pay a few quid extra and have practice run from 9 till 5ish, or maybe even longer.  I wouldn't necessarily do any more runs, maybe a couple, but I could take a much more relaxed view of the day, rather than feeling I had to get straight back in the queue immediately and never stop to look at any lines etc!
