As long as they are the same diameter... hope do 165 and 185 rotors, which aren't compatible with 160 and 180.

^^ Less pad contact on the rotor so more of a spongey feeling.

But I think diffrent rotors have a diffrent thickness? Or am I just speaking gbfybgvfeiuf?

i have avid rotors and hope calipers. the width of the actual braking surface can make a diference aswell. as mine have been worn away where the top of the rotor hit the caliper.

Yep, generally speaking the less pots the wider the braking surface therefore you can use a rotor from brakes with less pots but not the other way around.

im running avid juicy 7s on hope mono4 rotors with no issues so far and they have done two days of kilvey and a days worth of cwmcarn. just make sure to get the caliper in the right place over the braking serface.

The BB7 is just a big, slack, steamroller. It's a DH bike and doesn't pretend to be anything else.

as said you want to match the pad against the braking surface for the best feel so idealy you want to use the right rotor

but if it's all you've got you can make anything fit with washers Smiley
