rear shock advice? dhx air or push upgrade??
« on: October 22, 2007, 14:42:59 PM »

i have an orange five with a fox rp23 shock i ride everything from dh to xc im a pretty aggresive rider, but what i have found is the shock pumps up after a good descent
im considering getting the 2008 dhx air as its designed for more rought trails

i still use the pro-pedal function alot ( the air has this) but my mate has just told me about the PUSH upgrade does any one have this?
and what are your thoughts?

forked out to get my RP3 PUSH'ed, it is a lot of money, but now it unlocks all the potential that shock has...... all I would say is you have to know your bike and what you want out the shock... not just get it pushed... cause they can do all sorts... I got the full PP setting tighter and the open PP setting more open to give more of a range between the settings...

I can say for my bike it was well worth it... although Mojo can do effectively the same thing with custom valving ... but you dont get the PUSH internals...

as for service and reliability ... both were and are spot on...

well worth it...
