Hey up, presume this is one for you Al?

Sometimes when writting a respose if I write some words then add a face symbol (it was a grumpy face that I added last time it did it) it deletes the text that was written prior to the face being added to the message.

It then doesn't do it again in that message?

I'm not going mad honest, this has happened a few times.

Are you on a reply page or using qucikreply? What browser and OS (verisons) are you using? I'll see if I can reproduce and debug it.

Reply page so I've clicked the reply button then it's in the box of text like I'm typing in right now,

I'm on internet explorer, not sure what version how do I find that?

To find out what version of IE, click help and then click About Internet Explorer.

There you will find the version number.

Did it again a minute ago writing a pm, It was the rolly eye one this time, I think it might be when the smiley or sulkey breaks half way between two lines in the text box, does that make sense?

No idea at all no. But since its in third party code I have reported the issue to the maintainers and we'll see what they say.

Yeh happens to me everyday, gets annoying as when youve written alot and then it goes!

I know copy my sriting, click face, then paste incase it would remove writing lol.

Ermm can i ask a nooby question, and ask what the quick reply, and normal reply is?

I use the reply button at bottom fo page if that makes any difference.

Quick reply is something you can enable in your profile and provides a basic reply box at the bottom of each page.
