4th Nov Uplift Uk Bike Park
« on: October 25, 2007, 19:40:50 PM »

Next uplift is planned for the 4th Nov. Getting cold at the end of the season but at least you won't be so sweaty in your armour....... Grin

Members £15
Non Members £20

Refreshment available all day including locally produced hot dogs and the legendary MUM'S CAKE!!! Sign on from 9am, uplifting starts at 10am. Lunch 1 - 2pm (gives the driver ie, me! a break) finishing at 4.30pm

We've been busy with the guys from stillgotsomebeards putting in another amazingly difficult and chambered track next to H.S.E. The trail has yet to be named but it's very challenging! Also there's a possibility that Torico performance bikes will be demoing some of the new Commencal range - watch this space.

Had quite a few booking already - those who prebook will get preference over those who do not so get booked in! Either send us a cheque or pay via paypal - got www.ukbikepark.com for further details - click on the 'Prices & Payment' button on the top banner of the site,

See you all there..............

Paul

(PS! Anyone got a huge 65mm / 2 1/2 inch AF open ended spanner (if it's a slogger spanner ie one you tw*t with sledge hammer all the better) we can buy/borrow? The second truck is having it's winter rebuild and we need this huge spanner to remove the massive ball joints that holds the diffs in place - Free uplift to man with the correct spanner!!!!   Wink )

I've just booked in. Don't want my brand new (and for sale) bike to get damaged. Should I protect or is your trailer scratch friendly?

BTW Groovers we're having a little Halloween Haunted XC night ride thing up at the park tonight!

Anyone fancy it then bring a bike you can comfotably do 10 miles on (and some illuination  Tongue ) and meet at the layby near the park entrance at 18:15 TONIGHT!

We'll be taking in some devilish singletrack in the park before heading out in to the spooky depths of  Blandford Forest (to probably get lost) to see what the night will bring!!!

This uplift is going to be busy! We've had a great deal of prebookings already - if you want to defiantly use the uplift this sunday please prepay through the website using paypal.

Also we'll be having a informal fireworks night on top the hill Sat night. A mini bonfire, some cheap fire works, hot tasty food (plus beer) and the best view in Dorset of the whole Vally in front of you (you can see up to seven county's!) erupt at about 8pm with all various fire work party's going off. You're also welcome to camp over night  Grin

Going to be fun  Tongue
