Yeah wheres the beast gone?

We had discussed at the weekend that the thread might end up with it being over exposed and too many non-locals learning its secret location.

Is this why?

Not sure why exactly it was moved.  But its probally for the best.   Apparently the wardens are not happy again because of people parking in the layby part.  Logging lorries do need to get in and out of that area.

And ben, you are right as well.   Remember this is private land, we do not have permision to ride here.  And advertising it too the masses on this here forum is not doing it any good.  Personally id rather keep my local spot than tell everyone online where it is and risk loosing it forever.

Agreed?

Where do we go from here then??

Start up a new Tribal post under "Blancmange" or other such neutral moniker??

Replace the old post without "Longleat" anywhere??   Undecided

To be honest i was starting to get worried because of all the randoms from Frome etc being more regular, i have nothing against them, but the burning of the crap the other day, despite being a minor offense could be the start of asomething quite bad....

Would be nice to keep it quiet though. I think its for the better (sounds like we're putting a dog down or something)

In that case Rob, Pop and lock a thread stating no new longleat threads like QE. Seems the best idea, anyways we've all got eachothers numbers and facebook stuff anyways.

actually quite glad about this.... don't know if any of you read my last post before it went...

I think that we need to keep it invite only (eg people that we've ridden with before and know are OK)

I actually decided to park in heavans gate carpark the other week when the UKbikepark lot were up (not their fault!) as the layby looked way too crowded and it didn't look like they'd get a lorry though there anyway.

my msn addy is in my profile and a few of you have my mobile anyway so i'm sure any news of mass rides will still spread OK.

Just hope we manage to keep this awesome little spot we have.
