Would someone be able to post or pm me specific directions from the A3 to the dh runs please?  Never ridden before and want to have a look next week.

Been looking on here and the rest of the web for ages now without any luck.

thanks,
matt

Rogate location...
« Reply #185 on: February 28, 2008, 13:53:55 PM »

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about hitting Rogate this Saturday, but... I have no idea where it is, well I know vaguely the location, but my mates have conflicting locations.
am i right in thinking it's near http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=hill+brow&ie=UTF8&ll=51.022826,-0.855904&spn=0.047942,0.11055&z=13 just to the right and down a bit from the arrow?

Thanks,
James

Yup spot on. The tip of the arrow where you park....to the left of it is where the fun starts. Wink

Was driving past today and just stopped of for 10 mins to look around, There was one guy riding up there on his own at about 5.40 wearing no helmet. Riding a Kona stinky i think, cant remember much but if you are the guy or know him tell him to put a lid on.

It seems madness to me that for one, you would ride with no lid and two, on your own with no lid.  Roll Eyes
