Dslr's cant take vids. You could get a video camera which takes stills though. I remeber someone on here had one that took shots of around dslr standard.

Your probably best getting separate tools for separate jobs. If you want high quality you'll probably need tools that specialise at something rather than something thats average at lots of things.

Also it depends on your idea of 'high quality', most cameras shot video at 640x480 @30fps its reasonable, but not what I'd call high quality.
