ok mate of mine has just under £1000 to spend on a NEW (NO 2nd hand) DH/FR bike

what would you reccomemnd?

one of the giant reigns/glorys off of paulscycles.co.uk

they seem to be reasonably specced with sensible kit.

i wish i had spent less on a better bike when i was getting into dh (twas not possible back in the day as prices have come down alot now).

yeah the glory from paul cycles ... £1049 ... thats with juicy 5 brqakes ... ex-type raceface dh cranks , 66 forks .. dhx 3 coil .. for that prce i would defo go new .. you kknow the history off it ect ..
