HD generally means 720 lines (normal TV is 576).  When you see a TV that claims it is "HD ready" they almost always mean 720.  "Full" HD is a higher resolution - 1080 lines.  If you're looking to buy a "full" HD tv you need to look closely in the shops, you're looking for anything that says 1080 (some ill say 1920x1080, others will say 1080p).  If it says 1080i (pretty rare I think) avoid.  1080p is what you really want Smiley  (p is progressive, i is interlaced, interlacing sucks).

cheers for that buddy!

edit: although any idea why the 'full hd' version wont play properly? ie wierd colours and freezes... is it becuase my monitors max resolution is 1280x1024?

I think so, but can you buy it in HD?

The trailer looks amazing. Just beautiful. You can see they've really thought about some of the shots too.
Its great to have video bigger than your screen.

Possibly, maybe its just too much for the PC, it might not be able to read it off the HDD quick enough. Works under the same conditions on my PC tho.  Grin
