Gate Practice this Sunday at Bridgnorth

The track was like a swamp and closed on Sun just gone (04/05/08)...........start and first triple are covered in about 7" deep grass and a mini landslide on the 2nd straight.

that doesnt sound too promising! although the weather's a lot better. Not sure if I'm gonna go to the gate practise because it's such a journey and my car's leaking coolant every where, let's ride the course blind!!  Roll Eyes

i managed to swing by on saturday... it was dry (apart from the water-logged bottom) and the grass at the top was impossible to pedal on- bike skipped everywhere.

really wasn't worth the p*ss take of £8.

The course can be wet and slippy when wet  Roll Eyes

Forcast has been good all week so should be dry for this weekends gate practice.

The start straight is on grass same as it was last year the finish is on the grass at the bottom but will finish on the hard ground just after the last landing of the step down.

maybe the grass is as it was in the past BUT... where it's been ridden in the wet and the dried hard the ruts make it a mission to pedal on- back end skips everywhere.

it's like riding through a roughed up field!

Are you guys joking?

If you run a 2.5/7 by the time you've accelerated out the gate it wont matter how you get over the rough stuff Wink
