now now children, lets not get into a fight. I can appreciate how much work goes into organising a series, however what i think garth (and i) are trying to say is that we are a little diappointed. But these things happen, so hey. All it means is that we get to go 'shred' our own trails...WOOO!
better be up woodbury soon then henry... its all good.
not easy to got do the dragons when your a student with no money. if i had a van and time i probably would.
as henry said, it would be nice to actually have a proper series in the summer for once. and i do appreciate that dave is a busy chap and credit to him for what he does, but wy cant there be a summer series??? surely its no different to getting a winter series running.

Did you enter the summer uplifts?
Maybe, just maybe, if more people did, he would see more need to do a race...
i pay to enter a race to compete, not to go for a days riding. if i want that i go to my locals and have a shred. uplifts cost too much in my opimion, i know that it has to pay for the tractors, facilities etc, but the buzz for me comes from competing.
maybe, just maybe if a series was organised i would enter. i dont know anyone that wouldnt enter a sw summer series...

a summer series would be no different to a winter series. i raced last year, and there was a pretty good number there also. plus the tracks are ten times better in the dry.

the difference in the summer is there is a lot more choice. NPS's, dragons, UK Bike park series, Midlands, Alps.

A LOT more competition and seeing as most of the entrants aren't students without money, most are going to choose Dragons over the summer series meaning less entries for Dave.
He is at the end of the day trying to make money out of these races. Also, it's not like he HAS to organise a race just because you want him to!
If you look at the race calender there are very few free weekends to stage another race series, without clashing.
At the end of the day Dave runs a business, its down to him whether its viable and if he is willing to take the risk.
I would love to have a summer race series, but then I'm also happy enough to travel an extra hour or two to go to the Dragons, which lets face it, are staged on considerably better tracks....
