Has anyone got any news on how Dave Smith is.  Very nasty fall on the big berm, walked off the hill in the end but looked out of it.

Any news?

Unfourtunate to hear about that SJ, on a few occasions I had to tell someone to watch out as the bike was literally resting on the lever! I didn't move away from the trailer until I saw that bikes being loaded near mine weren't dodgy!

Was wicked fun....went really well for the first big race! 20th in seniors! Smiley

I think BIG UP to all the people helping out. Especially the car park peeps, and the bloke who was down the bottom sorting out the uplift queue. Class bloke!

Another thing maybe a few of the marshalls, think some of the young ones, were pre-occupied, rather than stopping people from riding into the large group of riders waiting behind a fallen rider!

Yup, I helped load the one next to mine on fine but then something happened with the one after and as I saw it happen it was already too late, but by then my bike was already rammed in so I couldn't have got it out and stayed at the bottom, had to go up and come back down  Sad

Yeah I know! Luckily they appear ok atm, but I was quite pi**ed off at the time! He just yanked his bike out! I think I met you up the top actually SJ, by the step down, you were with the girl who had just had someone crash into her as Harry Barnard and I walked back up.

Yeah I was in the cwm down van following the dragon truck to the top. I was off on my bike before they had even started getting any of theirs off!

That would be me then...  Roll Eyes SJ was looking after me while I had a 'moment'! Were you the guy i spoke to by the finish? Hope you and your various injuries survived if so.
