Does anyone know which track is going to be used this weekend. Heard rumours that its the bombhole track!

Cheers

Only one middle now due to forestry work, and the bottom will be the far-left section.

With no trees it's hard to say, I dont think it's anything that was there before really, it's just 3-4 wide open corners with stumps now.  Certainly it goes more left than right, you enter the woods well to the left of the new jumps in the old open section, if that makes any sense Smiley

Dude, you're totally out of line there, imho.

Firstly, the deforested bit has barely affected the track, you're only in the open for 50m or so.

Secondly, the FC could elect not to let us ride our bikes on their land at all, so let's be nice to them eh? Honestly, can you imagine how many venues would be lost if the FC threw a hissy fit?  And you think it's unreasonable of them to (gasp) cut down some trees?  HELLO?  The clue's in the name! Tongue

I really liked the open section tbh.  Open corners with loose ground and a tricky entrance back into the trees, certainly splits up the track.

I expect we'll see a lot of roots exposed through practice on saturday.

Highrollers all round, hasn't rained that much and most of the tracks fairly hardpacked so can't see swampys being needed, especially with sun forcast tomorrow

Pipped me by a second!  I was stood at the finish line quite chuffed that I was "only" 8 seconds off of the winning senior, then my mate came down and took the lead by 4 seconds, dammit lol Smiley

Had a really good weekend - uplifts ran fantastically, hardly queued at all.  Did 8 runs on sat and 3 practice on sunday, could have done 10 on sat and 4 on sun if I'd tried, but didn't want to wear my unfit self out!

Course was enjoyable as always, but I do crave something completely different there.  They have so much hillside to play with.  Maybe the FC wont let them make new tracks, I don't know?  And what I have in mind wouldn't be much work - I don't want any man-made stuff, no digging necessary.  Just clear a new line through all the trees, chop any offending branches off, clear the undergrowth, tape it out, and let it "evolve" over the weekend.  Less berms and more loamy drify loose stuff.  Oh, and tape it good and wide so there's always plenty of trees in the middle to hit and massive line-selection choice!

think they might even have been wider than that.

he came across the line from his second run shaking his hands, like he'd wacked every single tree on the way down.
