Cwmcarn issue...
« on: February 29, 2008, 19:25:39 PM »

This year I am entering the cwmcarn downhill race but there is a problem. I'm 14 and I ride a hardtail. So which category should I race in? Juvenile or hardtail?

Thanks ,

It's entirely up to you.
In Juve you'll be up against riders your own age, on all kinds of bikes.
In Hardtail, you'll be up against riders of all ages, on hardtails.
Easy!

From past experience entering hardtail categories i found i was quite young compared to others. Why not enter a race in hardtail then do another in juvenile? Which ever one you choose you are garenteed to meet some good people to have a chat with  Smiley

If you want to book camping i recommend you book early, cause the spaces will fill up very quickly. I wouldnt be surprised if the site was already fully booked.

And don't leave your bike on the rack on the back of your car overnight either - even if it's locked.

Cheers for the advice guys, and I will either sleep with my bike in the tent with me, or leave it locked up in the car!
