Hi Guys

Sorry for the thread revival!

I did want some opinions please!
I have been wanting the Morewood Makulu now for ages, however @ £3250 for a frame and fork - it's just too much for me. (So i settled on a TRek session 88 as a second choice)

I was however thinking that if I were to get the morewood Makulu (cant get the frame without said fork at the moment), then selling the fork to make up some of the cash, (maybe then getting some second hand 40's or Boxxers)

Do you think that if I can get this bike - I would be able to sell the fork easily... and for how much?

I know it's pure speculation, but your input would be appreciated!

edit: seing as TFtuned are going to sell them for around £1600, would I be able to get £1250 for them perhaps - unused of course

I would imagine a round figure of about £1000 would be an ideal starting price for new unused BOS forks with an aiming of taking no less than £900 in the current (nothing is selling) climate matey.

P.S if you get them I would be interested at that sort of money  Wink

get the 88 and spend most of the time talking about the frame or get the morewood and spend most of the time talking about the shock and forks. my opinion get n 88 with boxxer wc and u could have under 34 pound dh bike i think its 34 any way. im not a fan of those bos forks any way with the piggyback out side the fork(is it still) cause its just going to break if u drop into a rut

Out of interest, have you ever snapped the caliper off of a pair of fork lowers by doing this?

Don't think white brothers ever had a problem with piggybacks snapping off.

It's the Idylle not the Pro version that comes with the bike.
Reason is because the Pro is too heavy, so the decided on the normal version... price difference is only about £200
