Pads chaffing knees

On my last two rides my pads have started chaffing my knees quite badly, does anyone else get this? And how can you prevent it?

do they normally rub?

i find mine do when the get really dirty. try washing them

I usually just put a bit of tape on the pad where it's chafing you. Works a treat
