we have agreed to hold a dig day at carlton bank on sunday the 2nd of febuary. We will be meeting at the slate jumps behind lord stones cafe at 10 am. Please bring your own normal digging tools and some nosh so we can trek into the cafe for something to eat and drink

Carlton bank should be awesome.
I'm hoping to head up soon to check out the work that Ed & co are doing, they are very capable of delivering the goods.
One word of advice to anyone entering carlton bank though is to pack a kite for in case it's windy  Grin

looks fun i heard its on the other side of the hill to the original track? i used to love it up carlton. i went up in summer an the shale jumps are good fun.im gonna try an pick up another mountain bike again thru work an no doubt i will become a local up there again.all the best with the diggin!

can you ride this track outside of racing or is it private and isnt the old one open to ride.
I'v only heard rumours and i was just wanting to get some facts.

The old one is open to ride ,the new one is only open for riding on official uplift days.Contact Ed for details.

are there any new pics up of the track, i have seen the helmet cam and it looks cool. just wondering if there were any pics of the bottom bit with all of the jumps ?
