watery ears?

ok, not so much an mtb injury,more something resulting from bikes! got in the bath to soak me bruises from todays nps4x and well i got water in me ear,but 2 hours after gettin out the bath it still feels kinda "cloudy" like there's water still in there....whats this all about? anyone had this before? well weird!!!!

Ive had water in my ear before, usually happens when your taken by surprise though (brother woke me up with water). Its such a wierd feeling. Just lay your head flat on a pillow so the water can come out if it wants, and then eventually it should all come out at once.

Its so annoying i had t on holiday from swimming, do you get that sometimes you move your head and you can feel it moving?

Yeah most likely that, Give it a helping hand, but safely, like... a cotton bud or something, not like me and use a nail file and scrape it all out (really quite effective) Roll Eyes
My dad once used a softening liquid (softens the wax or something) then syringed his ears... Undecided
Pure lumps of wax were coming out,

Anyway, a cotton bud or whatever those things are, you know the ones with the stick with 2 buds on each end... should do the trick nicely, and if its not wax, then the buds will soak up the water

When i was younger i always used to get really bad ear infections. Last year at school i had a swimming test and you had to get a brick from the botom off the pool which is like12ft deep (i think) half way down i heard a really big bang and then there was just ringing, for the rest of the dat it didnt hurt too much. When i woke up the next day my whole head was stuck to the pillow with a load of puss that had dripped out of my ear over night, it felt like there was loads of pressure in my ears and it was throbbing really bad. But after about a week it all cleared up and i was fine.
i hope it NEVER happens again  Undecided

my friend was told to never use earbuds, as he used them and the doc said that he had pushed the wax further in and not taken it out, therefore saying that you should use the liquid stuff mentioned earlier...

Ive had it for the last three days after having a returnin infection on my tragus peircing =[- i dunno how the hell you do itr - oor even describe it!!! but i do the thing when it sounds like wind is hitting you - or an earthquake - random i no - but if anyone can describe it better please do!!! im paranoid now lol - but if you lie sideways on a pillow and do that it clears itself up

I get water in the ear quite often surfing, I hate it.  I've found the best way to clear it is to tip your head to one side (water filled ear pointing up), put a little more water in, feel it trickle in a bit (to meet up with the trapped stuff) and then turn your head over quick so your watery ear faces down and it usually gets the lot to trickle out in one go.

i scuba dive quite a bit so i know how you feel, 8/10 the water will come out on its own you'll just wake up with a wet pillow one night.

 if this dose'nt happen you can get achoholic (medical not just a bit of vody) drops for your ears from the chemists they work a treat

Or, and I know this sounds daft, fill your ears with water again.
Then tip your head until it runs free and gets rid of the whole lot at once.
Saves waiting ages for it to come out on its own.

Talking about ears.. does anyone get these.. kinda rashes on the inside of the ear (not right inside the ear but near the top bit or sometimes even on the top or back of the ear).. and there really itchy and when you scratch it it comes off like a scab and its really really saw underneath  :'(
