Helmets in Photo's.
« on: April 24, 2008, 22:46:17 PM »

http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php/topic,101832.0.html

The rule "Any photos that are posted up and the rider is not wearing a helmet will be deleted instantly" im not moaning and i tottaly agree with this rule.

But what im wondering is where is says "riding photo's" is this just biking or does it apply to all action photo's?

For example i want to post up alot of snowboarding photo's from a trick contest out in france, but alot of the riders wernt wearing helemets. Can i still post them up?

I  tryed to PM cookie monster to ask but he diddnt reply so it would be good if someone high up could answer my question

Its not clear. I'd pull helmetless snowboarders myself if they were doing tricks. Maybe that's 'cos this isn't a snowboard forum?

Ok then, There seems to be a bit of confusion with the rule.

personally speaking from off piste skiing, i would say there is more danger from not wearing a lid off piste than from tricks - what with the patchy snow and rocks - maybe consider that as well?

this is actually one of the most sensible rules in the forum (in my opinion), which i wasnt aware of until now - it sets a good example.
