The inside line is that it's all decided before the comp starts...

Lots of riders are not doing it this year after being screwed over by suspect judging last year.

Woah thats not good.

I dont really care though, I'm going to see some awesome riding not to see who wins.

Apparently theres gonna be a huge police turnout aswell, waiting to fine anyone who so much as sits on there bike  Angry

the North Shore format has been dumped, since Aaron Chase's unfortunate accident in Newcastle last year

its pretty much dirt jumping for 2008

im really up for going along.

But hearing about Police fining people on bikes etc. thats not good! and i cant really see myself going without a bike.

Ive also thought about the area outside the Tate, its not very big, and to get a decent course and all the spectators in there will be a squeeze i assume. But they must have thought of this.

Ill probably end up not going, its £20 a train ticket to get there, from Brighton To London Victoria :O !!

if you need to leave your bike somewhere safe, try platform 11 of London Waterloo station (only 5 min walk from Tate Modern)

there is a designated bicycle parking at end of platform 11, under CCTV, and police prescence within the station, i have left bikes there all day chained up without issues

erm, about waterloo, not entirely sure, but london bridge is the closest tube station on south bank if you are going to be using the tube at all that is

about bringing a bike, you'd probably be better to lock it up some where unless the event is outdors, because the directions on the official site say to go into the tate? if thats the case, you may have isues bringing it in with you, i don't think they'd want people riding around their art gallery  Smiley
