I am just looking at getting my travel insurance for going to morzine / megavlanche and have been looking at the different levels of cover available, I am looking at using DogTag, they have 3 tiers of cover Base, Pro and Max, each one offering higher payout limits and lower excess charges on claims.

I am just wondering if anyone has actually had an accident abroad and had to make a claim? And is there real benefits to having the more expensive cover?

yeah, the airlines don't want your tyres exploding due to pressure change...

Ask them if they have let the air out of the aeroplane tyres...

Not sure about dogtag. I'm using BMC level 4 for the mega.
The thing I have found with them is that they do not require immediate notification should you need treatment.
Some insurances do.
Not sure what that would mean to the cover but i didn't fancy it
