what do people think of the nikon d60 for a starter with the basic 18-55mm lense (will this be enough for MTB photography). are there any recommemded camera website shops?

clearly someone hasnt looked very hard on the photography part of the forum

 at the mo theres 2 posts from me with many replys on the d40 (lower version) and other bits of kit that i didnt even realise made a difference e.g memory cards

I'm in the same situation as you, have a look in Jessops and have a feel of the cameras, I liked the canon 1000d which is £330 on the jessops site with £30 cashback, and also you can order online and pick it up in your local jessops.

Hmm I am getting compact camera:

Kodak z1285.

Only 99.99, Im just begenning and dont have much money so i think it is good for the price.
