welsh champs

i have booked to race the welsh champs at Mynydd du and am not sure if i can get my dad's motor home in there which is quite important as we need to sleep over as it is a long way away

it is a pretty large motor home so can someone who has been there let me know if there is space to park and sleep

You could drive a Tesco artic up to and into the car park at Mynydd Du, but then you'd be taking up a lot of space that other people could be using for parking their car. Why not leave the motor home at home and bring your tent, its a lovely place to camp Smiley

Anyone can race, at least I did at Gethin with no licence. Is only the National Champs and NPS that require a licence.

i would only i have timed my holiday so that mynydd du is the first two days and i am touring mount the country/europe in the motor home so will almost certainly have it there

is there a campsite/field specifically used for people camping?

Any one can race the welsh champs but ya can't win it unless your welsh boyo!..

At least I think that's right.. Anyway that's what the guy from stereophonics said ... abuse me if I'm wrong!

what cant win unless ur welsh? how come? i would have thought if u can enter it you should be able to win it, where's the sense in that.. wouldnt want to pay money to race a race u cant win.

You can but its best to wait for the practice days, much much easier to get driven to the top.  Pushing up the track is steep.  Riding up the fireroad is long.
